This work is created on an original page from the 2006 Pirelli Calendar, recontextualizing one of the most recognizable objects of contemporary visual culture into a unique artifact within UTOPIA v2.1.

Rather than covering the original photograph, the intervention establishes a dialogue with it. Layers of acrylic and mixed media introduce Radio as a visual anomaly, disrupting the language of fashion photography and advertising. The familiar image remains visible beneath the surface, suspended between preservation and corruption, documentation and fiction.

Each work responds directly to the photograph it inhabits, making every intervention inseparable from its original page. No editions or reproductions exist—every piece is a true one-of-one.

The series originally consisted of 27 unique works. Today, fewer than 7 remain available, making these the final surviving pieces from one of the earliest bodies of work within the UTOPIA archive.
